From 9 to 18 March, the film festival comes to Alès again this year. All relevant information about films being shown as well as the programme can be consulted on their website: Their 25th this year, congratulations!  The present being forever the continuation of the past, I won’t recap further than 2006, a record year for French cinema and for the festival as well: 42,000 visitors compared to 37,000 in 2005.For this, our 25th anniversary and to respond to many of your inquiries, here is a presidential picture. A picture of a festival in sustainable development but still fragile. It is a general festival punctuated by august moments: - a short film competition, - a young audience programme, - a thematic retrospective, - uncut versions, sneak previews, - exhibitions, - tributes, best picks, special guests... This list is not exhaustive, to each his august moment! Quite vertiginous for those who have worked their hearts out all year... |
